Something to think about?

A hundred years from now it will not matter what my bank account was, the sort of house I lived in, or the kind of car I drove . . . . but the world may be different because I was important in the life of a child."
- Kathy Davis

The possessive apostrophe

Here is a wonderful powerpoint presentation showing how to use the possessive apostrophe. It has clear explanations, as well as interactive exercises that are followed by the correct answers. This exercise can either be done with the entire class as a lesson, or can be used as a reinforcement exercise where the learner works on his/her own. http://www.primaryresources.co.uk/english/powerpoints/possessive_apostrophes.ppt#1 This is suitable for grade 4 and 5 level. Enjoy!
